Texas is unique in the sense that all amusement device regulation is overseen by the State Insurance Department. Commercial Aerial Adventure elements in use by the public are regulated by the state; non-commercial courses not in use by the general public, as in the case of locations such as camps, are not. However, it must have a combined single limit or split limit insurance policy meeting specifications as outlined in the Texas Department of Insurance’s regulations.
